While being in the same family there are some minute differences we have noted over
the years. Both are extremely cold tolerant and each are beautiful giant species.
A beautiful little bamboo making a great medium height grove.
Ours seem to adapt well to water and has spread very well filling
in several areas that I watered heavily last year.
