Sasaella Bitchuensis

This species of low growing bamboo is native to Hondhu, Japan.
  It is an aggressive little bamboo and can be used for erosion
 control or a beautiful ground cover. Its large thick green leaves
 remain very pretty year around. We do not mow this ground
 cover bamboo down during the Fall like we do the smaller leaf ones.
