![]() | Today, we delivered to a beautiful estate in St. Louis, MO. Felix has been constructing this wonderful estate over the past few years. |
| They contact us to provide some bamboo to help add to the privacy of this home and gardens. Felix decided to plant Phyllostachys Rubromarginata because of its great screening ability in this climate. | ![]() |
![]() | You can see some 200+ divisions being unloaded to be planted along the side of the property. This property abounds with beautiful grounds containing sculptures and many extraordinary features. |
| Here you can see some more of the structures and features that makes this estate one of a kind. We hope the bamboo adds to the ambiance and provides the privacy that is wanted. Thanks for the order and for selecting us for your bamboo needs. | ![]() |

![]() | Today, we made a delivery to Carolann in Biloxi, MS. |
| They have a lovely home on the inland waterway and chose to use bamboo to help separate their home from the neighbor. | ![]() |
![]() | They used Phyllostachys Bambusoides 'Slender Crookstem' to provide a large privacy screen along the driveway. |
| This is a large screening bamboo that works well in warmer climates. It can screen from about 4' off the ground to about 40' height. These 15 gallon size plants should provide privacy quickly and help establish a natural border between the two houses. We appreciate the opportunity to get to work with them and being selected as their bamboo source. Thanks. | ![]() |

| Today, we delivered for a second time to a residence in New Orleans, LA. The first delivery was earlier this month which gives us a unique opportunity to show installed bamboo. They are using bamboo to create privacy in their beautiful back courtyard. | ![]() |
![]() | They chose Phyllostachys Aureosulcata 'Yellow Groove' bamboo. They are getting installed in dedicated beds on all sides of this courtyard. |
| Here are some pictures of the first time bamboo was delivered to the location. You can see the installed bamboo below screening out the building located behind the fence in this picture. | ![]() |
![]() | Yellow groove is a very erect bamboo. This was chosen to give this courtyard a nice formal screen. |
| This was some of the second delivery to finish all sides of the bamboo screen surrounding the courtyard. The site is nearing completion and is a great relaxing area. | ![]() |
![]() | You can see some of the screen the bamboo can provide once installed. With bamboo this large, this area should have a total screen by this time next year. |
| There is already an immediate impact with these larger size bamboo, but the owners will have great privacy in very little time. We greatly appreciate the order and hope the bamboo helps to make this courtyard a main attraction of this residence. | ![]() |

| Today, Robin a local dentist in Birmingham stopped by for a tour and to get some bamboo for a privacy screen. | ![]() |
![]() | He chose Phyllostachys Bambusoides 'Slender Crookstem' because he need a tall screen. This is a great bamboo for screening from 4' to 40' of height. It has large foliage and makes a lush screen. |
| Robin got a full trailer load and has already planned another trip. This planting should give him a great screen immediately. We appreciate the business and look forward to his next trip. Since he is a dentist, I sure hope we see him before he has to see any of us. | ![]() |

![]() | Today, we had an opportunity to present a booth at the Alabama Master Gardner's convention. We try to do our part to raise awareness of bamboo and all it's benefits. I had given a speech to the local Tuscaloosa, AL chapter in August of 2004. |
| We also had a few of the master gardners visit our farm during an open house we had for the American Bamboo Society. This event was held at the always beautiful North River Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa, AL. | ![]() |
![]() | Rachel, Gayle, and even little Harper helped to raise awareness of this sometime overlooked plant. We appreciate the opportunity to be an exhibitor and had a great time. |
Thursday, April 1st
![]() | Today, we delivery bamboo to Tina and her husband outside of Knoxville, TN. They need a natural screen to restore serenity to their peaceful country home. They have a new neighbor that removed all the existing trees between the two properties. |
| Tina decide that it would be more practical and time efficient to plant bamboo instead of waiting on trees to restore the natural screen. They chose Phyllostachys Aurea 'Golden Bamboo' as their new screening plant. This bamboo will provide a better screen than trees and do it a fraction of the time. We appreciate the order and hope you enjoy your new privacy. | ![]() |
