Bamboo customer Transporting bamboo

Larry and his son from Huntsville, AL stopped by again to pick up some more plants. This was just a short visit to get some bigger plants than we could mail order to him.

We really filled this car up with bamboo plants. Some of these plants were over 14' in height. We gently curled them into the back of the car and he was ready to go.

We appreciate the repeat business and hope you enjoy your bamboo.

This is John's beautiful estate in Charleston, South Carolina. It is a lovely place with beautiful oak trees throughout the property.
Bamboo delivery
Charleston SC delivery The main residence is at the end of the drive in the first picture. There was many pretty buildings on the estate and it was very impressive. So impressive that his grounds keepers have to constantly keep people from walking and exploring the grounds.

Here is the bamboo we delivered to the estate. It is to block the view of some new condos being built on the right side of the estate. He chose some impressive species to mix together. All the color of the species are complimentary. They were Phyllostachy Nigra Henon 'Giant Gray', Phyllostachys Nigra Megrochiku 'Black Stripe', and Phyllostachys Nigra 'Black'.

We really enjoyed getting to meet John and see his beautiful estate.

Bamboo customer We had a visit by Kevin, Addie, and their daughter Iris today. We had a fun time showing them around the bamboo grove. They needed a screen from a neighbor behind their home in Tennessee. They liked the appearance of Phyllostachys Bissetti and Phyllostachys aureosulcata 'Spectabilis'. These are two great species to mix because of comparable heights. The mixing of these two species will produce a grove of bamboo that has green canes and yellow canes with a green stripes. A unique appearance. We enjoyed their visit and thank them for selecting us as their bamboo source.

This was a delivery to Mr. Dundon's new estate. It is a beautiful, enormous estate right in the middle of Dallas, TX. You can see the house through the trees in the picture to the right. If you notice the pick-up truck and the piece of heavy equipment in front of the house it will give you an idea of the scale of this home. In the lower pictures, you can see some of the home, but not all. There is also a huge building to the right that looks just as beautiful and contains the indoor tennis courts and other recreational areas. While there, I saw three swimming pools, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, and a baseball field. Mr. Dundon is building a truly nice estate and he decided that he needed some bamboo to help. Here we are pulling into the estate. He has constructed two bridges used to access the estate across a pond (or moat). On the far side of the pond is a busy road. The area between the road and the pond will be used to construct a bamboo screen to shield the house from onlookers and noise.

Some of his bamboo is being unloaded. It had rained and the area is a little messy. The general contractor said that there was typically 100 people working each day to get this estate finished. It is easy for 100 people to muddy a place up.

We greatly appreciate the order and a chance to see the estate. Thanks again.

Mark, Cheri and their son Blaine visited our nursery on Saturday, April 6 to pick out some plants for their screening needs. They ordered some P. bambusoides 'Slender Crookstem'. Since we did not have these ready to go, we had to dig and stabilize them before delivery.
Customers from Altanta
Delivery to Atlanta     All the plants were ready so we delivered them today. They also got some P. aureosulcata 'Spectabilis', P. nigra 'Henon', P. dulcis and Indocalamus latifolius. These species will work well in their location at this beautiful home.
Mark and Cheri wanted a bamboo screen to block out a newly constructed house over looking their pool. The 'Slender Crookstem' will get tall enough, at maturity, to do the job very well. Bamboo to screen the house over looking the pool.

We really enjoyed meeting them and appreciate their business. They are loyal visitors to 'Our News Page'. We like to hear that people love bamboo as much as we do.
Thanks again and we think that you will be pleasantly surprised in a few years with your new bamboo.

Today, Larenda and her daughter visited. They needed bamboo to provide privacy for their home. The bamboo farm is a nice learning experience for children. It gives them a day to be outside and learn about an unique plant. Customer visit
Purchasing bamboo After looking at the different species, They decide to use the Golden Aurea for their screen. We really appreciate their business and enjoyed meeting them.
