Phyllostachys aurea flavenscens-inversa Aggressive in full sun Get this one and you will have something different. A collector species and supplies are limited. This one is often over looked by many gardeners. Even standing alone as a specimen or container planting it is beautiful. The emerald green canes have bright lemon yellow stripe within the sulcus grooves. The auricles and oral setae are absent from the sheaths. The culm nodes are compacted giving this species a great look on larger culms with its colored internodes. I recommend this species for USDA Climate Zones 6 and warmer.
