Today we delivered to Homewood, AL. This is for a new city center development that has shopping, dining, and housing. We delivered some Giant Gray Henon in preparation for the open house which will be on the weekend of August 15th. These bushy plants will help screen the view of the AT&T building from the homes below. |
| The utility building can be seen on the far right hand side of the picture to the right. This is a beautiful development and I love to see bamboo being used in urban environments. Today we had a delivery to Atlanta, GA. It was going to Mr. Maloney who lives in a beautiful house on the banks of the Chattahoochee river. He needs bamboo to provide for his sunroom and some upstairs bedrooms. |
| Phyllostachys Aurea was chosen in 30 gallon sizes. We had these sizes available in bushy and tall plants. We try to stock multiple looks in a lot of same size containers to accommodate most all needs. He chose a nice mix to allow for instant screening. |

The bamboo was to be installed on the other side of the retaining wall. This bamboo has limbs almost to ground level so it will make a great screen, allowing privacy for multiple levels of his home. We appreciate the order and it was nice to get to met you. |

| Today Skip and Robert made the trip over from Oklahoma to purchase some bamboo. Skip has plans to sell his home in a couple of years and needed fast privacy. His home backs up to the main entrance to his neighborhood and he needs additional screening that was not provided by his existing 8' tall block wall. |

Because of the height that was needed in such a short time period, large plants were used. This will insure that he has larger growth emerging in the next couple of years. He chose some Phyllostachys nigra 'Black' and Phyllostachys nigra Henon 'Giant Gray'. The gray and black bamboo make a very appealing look when mixed together. They will be placed against a stucco wall, so they are very complimentary in color. Smaller plants will do the job but not in the desired two years. These large plants with proper care will help him get the desired look and screen in just a short time period. |
| Here, we have them wrapped in plastic and ready for the long journey back to Oklahoma. We appreciate the visit and were happy to get to meet and spend time with them. |

This is Cade's house in Maryland. We first delivered to him on May 15th, 2009. This is the before and after pictures of the bamboo installation of giant gray bamboo. Cade decided to order a few more divisions to accelerate his screen. These are a few more plants in the picture on the left that were purchased to thicken the screen. |
| Cade had a need for an immediate screen because of the construction of a nearby residence. You can see the construction dumpster in this picture. We appreciate all the orders and we are sure that this situation will be replaced by lovely green foliage. |
